After I began to write on medium, I wanted a way to display my posts on my Website as part of a blog page. Medium had no way of retrieving a user's posts other than using RSS feeds. This gem retrieves the RSS feed from medium, parses it and saves it as a virtual document within Jekyll to be used however you want.
